A unique professional development event, the ACE Hui Fono is organised exclusively for Maori and Pasifika involved in adult and community education. 2014 will be the eighth hosted event.
The theme is Maori and Pasifika Success. The theme strongly links “success” to confidence in language, culture and identity. There is also reference to active and global citizenship exploring participation in mainstream and cultural contexts.
Keynote speakers include local Taranaki multimedia artist Ngaahina Hohaia and CORE Education’s Manu Faeea-Semeatu.
