Haere Mai Taiko

Haere Mai Taiko is one of Auckland’s most authentic and enthusiastic performers of the ancient Japanese art of Taiko drumming.

Anuanua Performing Arts Troupe

Anuanua Troupe is a group of professional drummers, experienced fire dancers, singers and humorous entertainers who are passionate about Cook Island culture.

Tamani

Tamani play traditional and contemporary African drum and dance music, using Marimba, M’bira, Ngoni, Native American Flute, vocals and other instruments. They create their own eclectic style of world music, guaranteed to make you groove.

AKSamba

AKSamba is an innovative world percussion band based in Auckland. Their musical style is a fusion of hot Brazilian rhythms (such as samba, samba-reggae, coco, baião) with drum & bass, hip-hop and other dance influences.

Tahiti Ia Ora

Tahiti Ia Ora mean ‘Tahiti is Alive’. Tahiti Ia Ora is an innovative world class dance group which maintains the authentic dance, songs, drumming and culture of Tahiti. It was formed 25 years ago and is the only Tahitian dance group in NZ.

East Cook Islands Community Culture Group

The Glen Innes locals of the East Cook Islands Community Culture Group pride themselves on their polyphonic and fast drum beats of the Cook Islands, creating an unusual, extraordinary, awesome musical experience.
