PolyCultural Storm

Te Oro hosts a free open day of arts, crafts and live performances, drawing attention to the importance of the natural world to Pacific cultures with a special focus on moving image, film and theatre works. PolyCultural Storm includes the New Zealand premiere of Holding On, a 2015 work made in Tuvalu by Samoan video performance artist Angela Tiatia.

Like clouds building before a storm, Tiatia’s short film will feature as a projection in the evenings leading up to the event.
