AKANAROA’ANGA ORA – LIVING MEMORIES

Come hear the stories & memories of our 500 Cook Soldiers who served in WW1as shared by their descendants, now our Pa Metua! Come and help us bridge the gap between the generations. These are the real stories of bravery, camaraderie and compassion & fear our youth need to hear! Come and be prepared to laugh & cry and sing with us the songs of old as sang by our ancestors to the sound of the Ukulele string band. Come listen to our special guest speakers share their amazing stories. The floor will be open to allow for others to share their tales and songs. Please accept this as our invitation on behalf of The NZ Cook Islands Arts Collective. Meitaki maata!
