Auckland International Cultural Festival

A free one-day event, great for the whole fAmily. this day is A fantastic mix of culture, colour, sights, smells And sounds.
You’ll be spoilt for choice with heaps to see, taste, listen to and do.

Food Stalls
Flavours of the world – tuck into Turkish gözleme and wash it down with freshly crushed sugar cane juice. If that doesn’t take your fancy there is plenty on offer with lots
to tickle the tastebuds!

Cultural Zones
Indonesian kebyar dances, French pastries, the Thai Songkran ceremony and African fashion are just a few things to experience within our four cultural zones.

Stages: Music, Dance, French and Latin, plus Percussion/Workshop
Three Houses Down will be headlining the Music Stage once more! Get feet tapping and hips swaying with dance and music from around the world, or get involved and work up a sweat at the Percussion/Workshop Stage. With four main stages to check-out, there’s no shortage of entertainment throughout the day.

Sports Zone
Get active in the Sports Zone – have a go at the world’s most popular martial art – Taekwon-Do, work on your golf and softball skills, score a few goals in the Gaelic football area or take part in a pétanque competition.
All the while, don’t forget to check out the popular Football Festival!

Wesley Intermediate School is fundraising for a ski trip by providing parking at $3 for the day. You may also like to take advantage of public transport and relieve yourself of the stress of parking.
