This Friday
Common Origin is an exhibition that brings together a group of like-minded artists exploring our common ancestry as indigenous peoples of Oceania.
The Hawaiian proverb “A’ohe hananui Ka Alu’ ia” translated means “united we stand divided we fall” which is a great foundation for the work in this exhibition. As Pacific peoples of a common origin, we can only be stronger as one; One Waka but many paddles.
