Malu Measina Samoan Dance is seeking dancers. Auditions will be held in West and South Auckland.
Founded in June 2014, Malu Measina was formed for Samoan women to embrace & celebrate their
‘Malu’ (traditional Samoan tattoo for women) or ‘Measina’ (treasure). Wearing a ‘Malu’ is mandatory
for all dancers.
“We welcome new dancers to join our movement. This group is for anyone who is passionate about
their culture and identity as a Tama’ita’i Samoa (Samoan woman). This year we aim to produce
performances of excellence in the hope to inspire audiences both domestically and internationally.
– Grace Tinetali & Dee Nonu (Management)
