We invite artists, illustrators, designers and creatives to express interest in the project.
Creative people with a connection to Ōtara are encouraged to express interest. Auckland Council’s Public Art Policy, adopted September 2013, confirms council’s commitment to the creation of works of art for our shared public places that respond to Auckland’s unique character, places, people and stories.
Auckland Council’s Arts & Culture Unit will provide project management support to the selected artist or creative team, therefore, previous experience working with glass is not required.To keep pace with the project timeline, please note that the selected artist(s) will need to be available for intensive focus on this project in the month of May 2014
Expression of Interest Request. To express interest in this project, please submit the following:
Up to five images of past work.
A brief professional history (up to 400 words)
Confirmation of availability to complete the project during May and June 2014.
