Whakawhetū and Auckland partners (Taha, Hāpai te Hauora, Māori Women’s Welfare League, Northern Regional Alliance, Auckland DHB, Waitematā DHB and Counties Manukau DHB) invite you to the Protecting our Mokopuna Seminar.

The purpose of the seminar is to:
• Increase the knowledge of SUDI across the health sector and agencies
• Share ideas and strategies on how we can continue collectively to reduce the SUDI rates in Aotearoa
• Network with others working to further reduce SUDI rates
• Increase community awareness and engagement in SUDI prevention
The seminars will build on existing SUDI knowledge and expertise, and will provide a forum to share innovative ideas about supporting women to stop smoking in pregnancy, encourage breastfeeding and practice safe sleep.
This invitation is extended to whānau, community and the workforce who work in, have an interest in, and are passionate about child health, well-being and strengthening leadership in SUDI.
The day will conclude with panelists including SUDI researchers and community leaders.

The cost of the seminar is $25 for those who earn over $50k a year and free to the community. Numbers are limited to 200 people, morning tea and lunch is provided.
