Manurewa Arts Centre offers a Spring School Holiday Programme jam-packed with fun activities like cooking, craft and sports for children aged 5 to 14 years old.
Children can take a trip to see the upcoming fantasy film Pan, solve a fictional crime at the Museum of Transport and Technology or join a five-day comedy drama workshop – The Fashion Nit Wits.

There will also be a Foodelicious Fun Day, Nature Party Fun Day, and a Magic Fun Day with the mesmerising magician Andy Wonder.

Poi-Making

Poi were traditionally used by Māori men to increase flexibility and strength in their hands and arms, and to improve their coordination and control. Nowadays, poi are seen in performance dances where they are swung rhythmically and used as percussion. Join artist Ruth Woodbury from Raranga Creations to make your own poi. You can even bring in your own plain, white plastic bags to upcycle!
