Six young actors will draw on their own whakapapa to capture what it means to grow up here, now, in Aotearoa,looking at their Whakapapa, NZ as an island nation and their own experience of NZ today.
There are three pasifik ladies on board for this show;
Jes’mine Amor-Maria Palaaia- 21, Denyce Su’a- 23, and Sieni Leo’o Olo -19, are heading with their team of 6 performers to National Theatre of Scotland’s Exchange to get involved in a weeklong programme of theatre practice with youth from across the world.
They will also perform their devised piece, sharing a bit of NZ culture. The show will be co-directed by acclaimed actress Miriama McDowell, whose recently been seen in films; The Dark Horse, Mahana, The Great Maidens Blush, No.2.
