Volunteers required Kia Aroha gardens

Kia Aroha College is a Bilingual High School with Maori, Samoan and Tongan units and we have approximately 300 students from Years 7-13. The gardens were established approx. 5 years ago during the renovations within the school.

They have since been moved and modified to get better access to sun etc. We have had difficulty getting the gardens established and the hope is to be able to make the project successful and possibly utilise the food from the gardens through the wharekai when we have students live in our marae for practices with Kapa Haka or homework live ins.
